Marines Verhulst Two Elves (1980)

This metal sculpture was presented by members of the Dutch Association of Volkstuinders Elftplaat 2 on the occasion of the association's tenth anniversary in 1980. The statue shows two fish among aquatic plants and stands on a stone base in front of the entrance of the clubhouse. The fish are also described as rudd roaches, but more likely they are pixies as the association is called Eltplaat 2. No information can be found about the artist Marinus Verhulst.
