Several works by the Rotterdam sculptor Han Rehm can be found in the public space of Rotterdam. Five facade reliefs were applied to this flat on the Glashaven - the Glashavenflat - in 1962, which were placed transversely to the facade. These reliefs depict figures that represent the cycle of the crop. From bottom to top you see a digger, a sower, a mower, a potato carrier and at the very top a milkmaid. The upper and lower concrete facade panels have a signature from Rehm. The sculptor made this series on behalf of the Boerenleenbank, which was then located here on the Glashaven. With these facade stones, Rehm represented his client's clientele: the farmer and the milkmaid. The Glashaven flat has now been converted into a residential tower. The five facade reliefs have been preserved in the same location. They are located on the side of the balcony on the first to fifth floors.
