In 1969, the Keizerswaard shopping centre was opened by Prince Claus. For that time, the shopping centre was very modern. During the 12,5 year anniversary of the shopping centre, the Keizerswaard shopkeepers' association gave this work of art as a gift. The sculpture of two types of marble was initially placed in the centre, which was not yet covered. Later, near the roof, the statue was placed outside the shopping centre near the entrance to the parking deck. It is unknown who made this non-figurative sculpture of grey and white marble.
