By popular demand, BKOR is organizing a 10.000 Steps Art Walk through old and new CrooswijkLed by art guide Anne-Marie Ros, we'll explore evocative and colorful works of art. We'll pass green walking areas, such as the canals and the monumental Roman Catholic cemetery – almost park-like with impressive avenues and ancient trees.
Here we pause at the modern chapel 'Holy Mary of the Angels' (2001) by Francine Houben, the intimate Children's courtyard (2010) by Petra Laaper and Ficheroux chair (2008) by Mathieu Ficheroux. At the Crooswijk General Cemetery we experience the contrast and search for Woman with pigeon (1965) by Cor van Kralingen and The guard (1947) by Louis van Roode.
