On Sunday, October 11, BKOR is organizing an art walk past relocated, old, and new art in Zuid. Led by our regular art guide Anne-Marie Ros, we will pause to admire works by Willem de Kooning, among others. Even those who think they know the works will still be surprised!

The walk starts on the Wilhelminapier, where The load carrier Han Rehm is looking beautiful again after wanderings. Lost Luggage Depot Jeff Wall's takes us back a quarter of a century and reminds us of those who have left and those who have arrived. Just a little further on, we peek through the open door of Gavin turk. resides in Katendrecht Willem de Kooning. Here you can see the three sculptures that had to temporarily leave Hofplein due to the construction work. Along the Rijnhaven and through the greenery of the Stadstuinen district, the walk continues past Time Warp to the Noordereiland. Musing along the Maas, we pause at renewed art by Ben Admiraal, old art by Henri Evers & Simon Miedema, kinetic art by Dik Box, and temporary, thought-provoking art by Tamyra Meesters.

About our art routes
In recent years, BKOR has developed various art routes that lead past many works of art spread throughout the city. All routes are offered as a PDF in Dutch and English via this website, but a foldable map is also still available for free at Rotterdam Tourist Information on Stationsplein. The routes have also been made accessible for your mobile phone without having to download an app. Go to www.bkor.nl/routes, select the route you want to walk or cycle and see where you are on the map.
