Starting point: Ahoy area, announcement after registration
For the first time, Art Rotterdam will take place in Ahoy and Rotterdam Art Week will be organised by a new, dynamic team. That is why BKOR invites you on Saturday 29 March for a special art walk in Zuid led by art guide Anne-Marie Ros. Walk with us on a specially composed route of 5,5 km along contemporary art, public art and street art - an area full of creativity that is waiting to be discovered.
We start with a short visit to Art Rotterdam, after which we explore Zuid further. We come across work by artists such as Adrien Lucca, Ek van Zanten, Cosima von Bonin, Martine Herman, Kunst & Vaarwerk and Jeroen Jongeleen. We walk past places in transformation, such as the Mandelapark and the future Rijnhavenstrand. We make an inspiring stop at the exhibition Expo Cape Quarter in Bayhouse The View, where work by more than 150 artists can be seen. Our route runs from Ahoy to the Kaai, or from Art Rotterdam via Katendrecht to The New Current. We walk along the Maas, through the hidden garden of Piet Oudolf and past iconic locations such as the Poortgebouw and the Entrepothaven. We end at The New Current, the new platform for emerging artists in the old Margarinefabriek next to the Hefkwartier.

About our art routes
In recent years, BKOR has developed various art routes that lead past many works of art spread throughout the city. All routes are offered as a PDF in Dutch and English via this website, but a foldable map is also still available for free at Rotterdam Tourist Information on Stationsplein. The routes have also been made accessible for your mobile phone without having to download an app. Go to www.bkor.nl/routes, select the route you want to walk or cycle and see where you are on the map.
