The third and final season of the series Never known is entirely dedicated to Rotterdam South, spanning six episodes. In addition to art in public spaces and monumental art, attention is also paid to the architecture in various neighborhoods in the South.
Lauren Verbrugh speaks with art and architecture experts Paul van Gennip, Paul Groenendijk, Siebe Thissen, and Han Timmer, who discuss what there is to see. Several artists also have their say, including Hans Citroen, Cor Kraat, Lydia Schouten, Henk Tas, and Kamiel Verschuren. The series is from April 14 broadcast every Tuesday evening (with the exception of May 5) at 18:15 and can be seen on OPEN Rotterdam TV or on openrotterdam.nl.
The first episode of the third season takes the viewer from Rijnhaven metro station to Zuidplein. The second episode on April 21 takes place in Charlois. In the following episodes, the team of Never Known After visiting Zuidplein and Vreewijk (episode 3 on April 28), they travel from Waalhaven to Pendrecht and Zuidwijk (episode 4 on May 12), around Koningshaven, Rijnhaven, and Maashaven (episode 5 on May 19), and finally crisscross through Zuid (episode 6 on May 26).
