BKOR and SIR, programs of CBK Rotterdam, will put the Rotterdam sculpture collection in the spotlight next year. The artist David Bade is invited to add a new dimension to the international sculpture collection on the route from Rotterdam Central along the Westersingel to the Westzeedijk with (temporary) additions. The program provides images, installations, performances, workshops, conversations and guided tours. In this way, CBK Rotterdam wants to give a new look at the famous Rotterdam art collection in the public space, a collection that has been built up in part by our programs. BKOR (Visual Arts & Public Space) and Sculpture International Rotterdam (SIR).
David Bade is well known in Rotterdam, especially because of his stimulating image Anita (2001) on Eendrachtsplein as part of the international sculpture collection.
