On Friday, November 24, the monograph of the Rotterdam artist Madeleine Berkhemer (1973-2019), published by nai010, was presented in the Kunsthal. Here Marjolijn van der Meijden, BKOR project leader, received the first copy. Madeleine Berkhemer used various art forms and techniques for her research into the power of the female body and the way it evokes both desire and discomfort. In 2021 her work of art became Parabola Blues unveiled in the garden of the Tuin van Noord residential complex, the former prison on the Noordsingel. BKOR's financial contribution to this overview publication arose from the intensive collaboration with the Madeleine Berkhemer Foundation during the realization of Parabola Blues.
