On Saturday, May 10, artist Jeroen Jongeleen and are organizing Sculpture International Rotterdam (SIR) the second edition of the Rotterdam Sculpture Run. This self-supported running route passes by well-known and lesser-known, official and unofficial works of art in the city.
Before departure, Jeroen Jongeleen gives a brief explanation of the Second Rotterdam Sculpture RunYou will receive the map of the route and the stamp card. Stampers will be present at various points along the route, at ten artworks in public spaces, where you can collect the ten stamps. Upon your return, your stamp card will be numbered and signed.
Artist's studio The Wild Know This is the start and finish location of this run. Here you can change clothes and leave your belongings. Soup will be served at 4:00 PM, and you can also get a drink here. But please note: during the trek, you are on your own, you are self-supporting, and you participate at your own risk. Bring enough water and food with you. There are no facilities available at the checkpoints. And be careful when crossing the road!
