The water basin is part of the Nesselande art plan written by artist Henri van der Putten. Based on this, the CBK Rotterdam has issued four art commissions. After the Hydra van Moritz Ebinger (a Tintin-inspired sea monster in the Zevenhuizerplas) became 2008 at the end of June The water basin from Stan Lewkowicz added to the collection. About the artist

Stanislaw Lewkowicz (Hoensbroek, 1956) is a visual artist who uses many techniques in his work. For example, he works a lot with lithography, but he also designs for public spaces, where he also regularly works with light. In 1986 and 1988 he won the Dutch Graphic Prize.
